Girls in the Refrigerator

Do all kids love to sit in the refrigerator? As you can see both of our girls seem to love it. The picture of Cora is from around the same age as Molly is now.

Cora Dancing

Play Group

The girls and I go to a playgroup at church every other Monday. It is always so much fun. The girls love playing with all of the other kids and I really am enjoying getting to know some of the moms at church that I do not know as well. Well today for some reason (mostly a whole bunch of sick kids) we were the only ones there. The girls had so much fun playing in the ball pit room that we have at church. We are so thankful that we have a church that we can go play and have such a good time when it is too cold to play outside.

Girls in Stripes

Cora Mae loves her sister so much! Even if Molly is not very excited about it.
We had to break out the pacifier after that big hug.

Girls' Night Out

My sisters were coming up to Lexington to go to the UK Basketball game this weekend so my friend, Jill, and I went over to hang out with them. We went to Judean's favorite resturant, Malones. Oh my goodness it was so good! We had so much fun just hanging out together and talking. It stinks living so far away from my sisters so I was so glad that Jill and I were able to go hang out with them even if it was just for one night.

Another tragic outfit

Posted by Picasa

As many of you know Cora Mae loves to play dress-up. When she is not playing dress-up she likes to pick out her own clothes. As you can see from this picture she is not always successful. I am soooooo glad that we are staying home today.

Cora's Day of Beauty!!!

Cora's Haircut

Before . . . . . .

After . . . . . .

After a lot of anxiety I finally broke down and had Cora Mae's haircut. Cora was a little nervous herself. She was afraid that her hair would not fly when she danced after it was cut. I promised her that she would still have plenty of hair left over when it was all over. We made a special day of it. She got to pick out where we went to lunch and then just she and I went to the OxySpa for her first day of beauty. It was so much fun and I did not pass out when we cut off 6 inches! Yes I said 6 inches! Look at my Big Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy with Daddy!

I was looking through some pictures and found this picture of Cora and Michael today. The picture is from this summer while we were in Washington visiting Michael's parents. I love this picture. I do not remember seeing it before and I was struck by how happy they look.

Daddy's Hat

When Michael comes home one of the first things that Molly wants to do is play with his hat. She is so cute!

Molly's Idea of Fun

Molly loves to sit anywhere little. My friend, Jill, was in her room on Sunday morning and she told me that Molly sat in a bucket for about 30 minutes. She will sit in the laundry basket forever as long as you give her some toys. Have fun big girl!

Cora Cooking

Cora loves to help me cook. So the other day I was making something that she could really help with and we had a great time in the kitchen. Dinner was great!

Molly is 15 months!

Our big girl is now 15 months!!! We had to go to the doctor today for her well-check appointment and the poor baby had to have 3 shots. She is fairing very well. The doctor said that she is great. Here are a few things about our girl:

-she weighs 22lbs. 12.8 oz
- she is 30 1/4 in. tall
-she says Mamma and Dadda all the time
- loves to eat any fruit that you put in front of her
- loves to play with her big sister
- loves to be tickled
- pretends to talk on the phone
- loves to play with any ball
- has a great laugh
- can melt your heart with that smile
- is such a sweet girl

She gives the best hugs and open mouth kisses. We are so blessed that God has given us this precious girl!

Bathtub Fun!

Bounce Planet

My friend Kelly and I took our kids to a great place called Bounce Planet today and it was so much fun. Cora had a great time bouncing with Brayden and Molly loved playing with Bryce. Everyone loved all the slides. The best part was the kids were worn out when we left. It's going to be a great day for a nap!

Sweet Girls

Here is a picture of the girls before church on Sunday morning. Cora wanted to take pictures before we left. She loves her baby sister!
Molly is wearing my one of very favorite dresses here. What a sweet little girl!

Fun with Daddy

Cora Mae always loves it when daddy is home. On this day she wanted to play "Cheers and talk." I guess this is her version of a tea party. They had a great time and then later danced around in the living room.
