Messy Day

I am on this Children's Committee at church and we were talking about doing something with the little kids. You know the real little kids that never really get to do anything fun. Well I volunteered to organize a "messy Day" for kids 3 and under. I did not know how many kids would show up but we ended up with a great crowd. These kids had a great time! We did hand and foot prints, painted with chocolate pudding, and then played in the water. It was real messy but so much fun!!!!

Uncle Jack

My dad is the youngest of 7 boys. I know what you must be thinking. Seven boys! Yes, my grandma was a brave woman and could take any of them out and had to many times. Well, my dad's oldest brother, Jack, passed away and his funeral was last week in Ohio. The girls and I headed over and I am so glad that I did. I got to see so many of my cousins that I rarely see. It was a great time.
This is a picture of all the brothers still living. Ready for the names? Ok here we go.... (front) Oneal (back L-R) Rettig Hark, also know as Uncle Tater, Zollie (my dad), and Alister.

Big Girl Panties

Well about tow weeks ago I decided that it would be a great time to try to potty train Molly. Well after many pairs of panties and cleaning lots of pee pee and yes poo poo out of the carpet Michael looked at me and said, "Chris, she is not ready!" I had to agree and we went back to diapers the next day. We will try again later. Just to let you know, about a week later she poo pooed on the potty. Oh she is killin' me!

Scarf or Tights

Cora Mae always comes up with new ways to express her inner fashionista. This day it was scarves or was that tights.

Babies

The girls love to play with their babies. On this day they could not get enough of it for some reason. I think they played with them all day long. The best thing that happened was when I looked over at Cora Mae and she was shaking up the bottle she was using for her baby. You may be asking yourself why it is so great that she was shaking up the bottle. Well she put her index finger on the nipple of bottle just like any mom would do before shaking up a bottle. I laughed about it all day.

Cora Mae

Most of you know Cora Mae very well and so you know that she does not shy away from talking. Each time we met a character she would have something personal to say to them. It was so funny. This is her telling pooh that he was a great Super Sleuth.

Breakfast with Pooh

The last day we were there we had Breakfast with Pooh. Molly could not have been more excited. She literally did not eat anything because she could not stop saying "Pooh! Pooh!" It was so cute.

Oh Minnie!!!

These two girls love Minnie Mouse. We got to see her at the Animal Kingdom and they were so excited. If you look at Cora Mae's shirt you will see a little blue pin on it. This is her most prized possession right now. While we were at breakfast with Donald the chef came out to talk to her about her allergies. The chef was super nice. Cora Mae being the talker that she is spoke right up and told her that she is allergic to peanuts and kiwi. The chef talked to her about how important it was to know your allergies and told her many times how proud she was of Cora Mae for knowing them. Well we thanked the chef for telling us what foods to avoid and for being so nice to Cora Mae. A few minutes later the chef came right back out and brought Cora Mae the pin that she has on for knowing about her allergies. It has Tinkerbell on it and Cora Mae wore it almost everyday for the rest of the trip. I was so proud of my big girl.
