We love being outside

We are loving spring time. After being inside all winter long we love the back yard.

Whose child is this??

The other day we were all in the back yard when I heard the dog across the street barking. I looked over the fence and what do I see but a horse! Michael took the girls out to see the horse and the next thing I know Cora Mae is on the horse! What?! If you do not know my child well, she is afraid of anything that moves. Come to find out she rode the horse down the street. I was so proud of her!!

Is he crazy?

My dad has a few razors with no blades in them and he lets the grandkids "help" him shave. Cora Mae loves this and Molly was so sad that she could not help this time. Maybe next time big girl.

Who needs the Nail Spa when you have MeMe?

MeMe has painted Cora Mae's toes in the past and she remembers everything. So she started asking MeMe to paint her toes as soon as we got to their house. This time Molly got in on the action and she felt like such a big girl.

Grassy Mountain

We went up on Grassy Mountain with Pa one day while we were in GA. It is so beautiful up there and I have so many memories of riding up the mountain in the back of Pa's truck when we were little. It was to cold to get in the creek but the girls had such a good time just throwing rocks in the creek. Pa showed us his skills in skipping rocks and even though I have not done it in a long time I even skipped a couple myself. Cora Mae tried but she did not get it this time. We took our lunch up there and had a wonderful time.

Straight Hair?

Cora Mae spent the night with Aunt Judean while we were in GA. She always loves to stay with her cousins even though she has to side herself up for the evening. You see Judean has cats and Cora Mae is afraid of anything that moves. She powered through the evening so she could hang out with Peyton and Bayley. When they came to church on Sunday morning I almost did now recognize my own child. Judean had straightened Cora Mae's hair with her flat iron. It was so cute and Cora Mae loved the straight hair. Thanks Aunt Judean for the fun night!

Judah is 3!

The girls and I went down to GA during Cora Mae's spring break and we had a great time. We were so lucky to get to help celebrate Judah's 3rd birthday. Judah or Big J, as he is affectionately called, is such a sweet boy. He loves the ladies or at least he loves to kiss them. He is all boy and we would not have it any other way. Happy Birthday Big J!
